Cribs in Bermuda

I've asked this bfore but didn't get a response, but I am hoping someone can help me. We will be staying at the Fairmont southampton for 5 nights in early July. I have put in a request for a crib. They cannot guarantee that it will be available and said they had a low bed if necessary. This is just not going to work, and I would rather just rent a full size crib and know that I had one waiting for me. Is there any such service in bermuda? Am I going to have to bring a pack n play from the states (has anyone checked one before?). TIA

Hi emcash!
Bermuda Red Cross rents baby equip, including cribs. It's $10/wk, they have a limited supply so they recommend you call atleast one week before your arrival to reserve one. They do not deliver or pick up, but the lady told me that almost everything they rent folds/collapses to fit into a taxi.
Hope that helps!! And if you're familiar with the island at all, the office is located between the hospital and the big roundabout where Johnny waves.

Thanks txgirl! I've been to bermuda twice, so not sure where that location is. Is it anywhere near the airport or on the way to Southampton?

Do you have any idea if these cribs are in good condition? Thanks for your assistance.

Can't vouch for condition of cribs at all, I simply did a quick check through the phone book and that was the only place I came up with, so I gave them a call. And the location is a very quick detour from your South Shore Road route to Southampton, if the hours fit with your arrival to the island, it would take you no time to swing by on your way to the hotel. They are open 10-4 M-F and 10-12 on Sat. 441-236-8277.

Thanks so much TX girl- that was so sweet of you to check on that. I'll look into it. It might not work since we get in on a saturday, but it's good to know that info. Thank you so much!
