Two places on our "must eat" list for December ~~ Coconut Palm (best pad thai in BKK, we think) and Marriott Resort/Spa breakfast (absolutely the best we have EVER had in all these years). Looking forward to both of these!

If you haven't tried Ruen Urai, I'd highly recommend it for a good meal in a beautiful setting. It's right behind the new Le Meridien o Suriwong Road. Also, Saladaeng Cafe (by Jim Thompson) has really good food, in a more casual setting. The menu is more or less the same as the Jim Thompson Cafe at the Jim Thompson House.
