How to reserve seats with Virgin Australia

I obtained 2 tickets using Delta Sky Miles from LAX/MEL/LST, LST/MEL, SYD/LAX.

I need to reserve the 2 long-haul seats from LAX/MEL and SYD/LAX. When I tried to use Delta website, it referred me to the “operational airline” to get seats. . I am unable to log into the Virgin Australia web-site to reserve seats by using my flight confirmation #. Please help me find a way to get seats.

Thanks.

Your DL confirmation number won't work. Your two options are (1) to use your ticket number, or, (2) to call DL and ask them for VA's confirmation number, which will then work (or should!). You can also phone VA and have them do it on the phone (they are delightful to work with).

Virgin Australia has an app that you need to download before you get on their domestic flights as you then can use your own electronics to pick up their media on the plane.Their selections for movies and music were really nice. If you don't do it before getting on the flight, there isn't any entertainment onboard the domestic flights.

As suggested, I called VA at 1-855-253-8021 and got all my seats.

I will ask more questions in the Australia Forum once I start to plan my trip.

Thanks.
