Athletic with Kenyan & cooking

I will be in Kenya for two months ie May & June 2011,my intrest is in athletics joining other Kenyan athletes and practice together with them ,i would also like to know how to prepare different dishes this being what i like most 'cooking' , my question is..... have no ideal where to start and how to go about this,please even you have ever travelled in such motive just let me know,also forum advise will be of very great help.

Not sure where you live, google "marathon tours and travels" .... they offer these types of trips. Even if they don't they may give you suitable recommendations.

Alternatively, email the editors at Runners World magazine and get their tips. They also have a forum on the RW website - maybe you can ask there.

fine Jaynih,those are nice interest.you can try tour operator such who can org anise yourtrip.i suggest Boyd tours&travel i have used them and they are reasonable

you can go along with tour operator just try Boyd Tour &Travel am in a safari booked with them.hope you will also enjoy you safari

Hello Jaynil,
Your interest is so interesting,there are particular training sites reccomeded in Kenya,where the weather is favarable,we have one in Nyahururu,Eldoret i dont recall the other area.

The athlets have trainers who observe them very carefully,i stayed with a group for a month,waking up at 0400hrs for training and observing strict diet.

If this is what you want maybe my friend can help you if he is in Kenya by Now becouse he was one of the trainees and there were arragements to go to Japan this year for athletics.He lived in Nyahururu and trained there too.
