Blustery winter weather combined with salt-and-sand de-icer solution leads to an epic build-up of muck on the streets of Moscow. Capitalizing on the available canvas, street artist Nikita Golubev has been creating works of art on the dirt- and dust-covered vehicles throughout the city.
Golubev only sometimes gets permission from vehicle owners before “etching” designs in the dust, leaving a “clean” spot of work behind. He’s hashtagged the project #dirtpainting and the photos of his designs have since gone viral.
