Julie Bielenberg is a Colorado-based writer producing over 75 pieces a year for outlets such as AAA, Family Vacationist, Rachel Ray in Season, Spoke + Blossom, USA Today, Vail Daily, and numerous others. She has been the State’s #1 agritourism for ten consecutive years and is always in search of field, farm, forest and forage. Julie has three children, two pandemic pooches, and an avid, outdoors husband. Julie graduated with a Bachelors in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and holds a Masters in Humanities from the University of Colorado, Denver. She has been on the editorial team of numerous publications and won a Silver Award in the 2020 Bill Muster photo competition and Silver Award in 2022 from the North American Travel Journalist Association. She consistently contributes to panels and podcasts supporting other journalists and students. Although a Chicago native, and having lived in Denver for over two decades, Julie is completely at home in the High Rockies where her family now lives in an old B&B, surrounded by elk and deer herds, the occasional bear and wandering bull, and endless natural inspiration.
