yoga on the beach??

I'm interested in taking yoga classes while on vacationing in Maui this May. We will most likely be staying 4 nights at the Kapalua Bay Hotel and 4 nights at the Kea Lani. Does anyone know if these hotels or any others offer yoga classes on the beach? or are there classes offered that are not affiliated with hotels?

Thanks in advance!

Quite simply, call the hotels and ask. Ask for the concierge.........end of discussion...........

Hi Bogart!!

Sorry it has taken so long to respond-having major problems logging on.Anyway, check out the spa at the Ritz Carlton Kapalua.Husband and I had a fabulous stay there in early Dec. They offered a "yoga on the beach" program-it was at sunrise on Kapalua beach(breathtaking setting).I did not have time to take it although it is on my must do list for next trip!! The Ritz has amazing spa services-the ocean front massage was to die for!! Anyway, contact the Ritz and they will give you all the info you need. I am not sure which days of the week the yoga sessions were. Have a great trip!!

Hi Bogart!!

I am pretty sure that as a guest of the Kapalua Bay Hotel that you can use the facilities at the Ritz.FYI-I pulled out some of the fitness schedules that I had from when we stayed at the Ritz in Dec. They have a session called "Fitness Yoga" at 9:15 am, "classical yoga" at 8 am , "yoga on the beach" at 8 am (this sounds amazing-didn't have time to take it) and "sunrise meditation" at 7 am. They also have personal yoga and pilates classes. This is only the beginnings of the fabulous spa services the Ritz has. Hope this info helps.Double check the times just in case they change them from month to month.Aloha!!!
