Wicked tickets

Does anyone have any suggestions for Wicked tickets for this weekend? It's for a family of 4. I don't really want to buy them on line. Need some help.

Wicked is sold out months in advance. The only way you will get tickets at this point is through a broker--for about $250 a ticket.

You could also try the cancellation line - I'm not sure what time you have to start lining up but if you get there when the box office opens and ask they'll tell you. It's possible they may have four canceled tickets (most likely they won't be together, but you'll get in). You will be charged full price.

If you're willing to pay a premium, www.applause-tickets.com may have some. You can phone them.

Wicked has same day lottery for tickets.Copied from playbill.com

Wicked
General Rush: Each day, two hours prior to show time (11:30 AM for 2 PM matinees; 12:30 PM for 3 PM matinees; 4:30 PM for 7 PM performances; 5:30 PM for 8 PM performances), people who present themselves at the Gershwin Theatre box office will have their names placed in a hat. 30 minutes later, names will be drawn for 28 front-row seats at $25 each. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person, cash only. Photo-ID.

If you have a gold or platinum Amex card you can get them through their concierge service. I think you pay a fee in addition to the ticket price.

I got my Wicked tickets last weekend through a company called New York Guest. I am in NY a lot and they have always been able to get me sold out tickets for $200-$225 a ticket for the good seats. There number is 212 302 4019. You cannot buy on line with them but they have always delivered to my hotel.
