Which show to see in Vegas?

I'll be in Las Vegas in mid-July with some freinds, including female friends. We are late 20's to early 30's, looking to go to a couple shows, Mystere is one of our choices. Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

I saw Mystere and loved it! I haven't seen it, but most people think that "O" at the Bellagio is the best show in town. I also saw Danny Ganns at the Mirage and liked it--it's comedy/impersonations/variety show. Danny Ganns is super talented, but the show is a little cheezy.

If you like the music of Abba, the "Mamma Mia" show at Mandalay Bay is very good.

If you're looking for a bargain, go to the "Tickets2Day" booth in the M&M World by MGM. They open at 2 PM sell half price tickets for shows that evening. They won't have the big-name shows other than Lord of the Dance, but we got 2 tickets to the Improv at Harrah's for $35 and had a wonderful time.

I'd go to Blue Man Group... extremely entertaining

Zumanity (the Cirque show that replaced Lord of the Dance) will open a little later...

Mystere is great, and O is just fantastic.

I liked Mystere better than O. Also we loved Danny Gans. He was very entertaining.

Will there be a problem getting tickets to "Mamma Mia"? We'll be in LV the middle of September. Should I get the tickets now?? It's the only show I really care about seeing.

I don't know if it is very hard to get tickets for Mamma mia, but it is always a good idea to get tickets in advance, specially if it is the only show you want to see.

We saw "O" and I thought that it was overrated. We also way EFX ant the MGM Grand with Rick Springfield.

That was an amazing show!! I would recommend. The tickets were $65 and great seats.

We went with my inlaws who are in their 50's and they loved it too. We loved it as well and we are 32.

Good luck.

Danny Gans is always sold out well in advance, so there's never any special price. Way overrated for an $80 cramped seat in my opinion, and certainly not worth $100, which is what the entry level price will be starting July. Yes, Danny Gans is very good at some impersonations but only lackluster with others, and he sucks pretty bad as a comic telling stale old jokes. Aside from the two who run the tiger show across the casino, this has got to be the most overpriced and overrated show in LV.

Tinatoadster,

Hate to tell you, but EFX is no more. MGM has scrapped the show. I can't say I was very impressed when I saw it in 2001. This year we say Mystere, truly a remarkable show, higly recommend it.
