Which is Best Luau in Oahu

Would love some help with deciding which Luau we should see - Just my husband and I - no kids. It seems the main 3 choices are:
POLYNESIAN CULTURAL CENTER
PARADISE COVE LUAU
GERMAINE'S LUAU
I keep seeing mention of the Polynesian CC but think Paradise Coves website looks good also. What really is the choice - what are the differences? thanks to all for advice, once again.

I like everything about Paradise Cove. We always take guests there.

Thanks Islandmom. Would love to know how you spend your time and what you ensure you see/do and where we should pay to eat/sit - any tips would be great.

They keep you busy. First you take photos with hunky and sexy local folks. Then they hand you Mai Tai's. You play ancient games, make leis or get tattoos. The view is amazing. Walk around and take photos. Then there is net fishing and a raining flower story that you are a part of on the beach. Then you learn about cooking the pig and they have a big show of bringing it out. Then you eat and watch a very long and exciting show. I would sit as close to front center as you can.

I have to all 3 and though Paradise Cove has a good location, if I recall they were doing some repairs while there and as I recall, I wasn't that thrilled with their show. Germaine's was great, however, it was about 15 years ago that I went and things could have changed. Both of these are on the beach which is very nice. However, as far as "shows" are concernec the Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC) has the best show by far...the meal portion of the luau is okay.

Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with either...if this is your first time in Hawaii and if you live inland, I think the luaus on the beach are very nice. But at the same time, I think that if it is your first time, you should definitely go to the PCC, and do the whole day, and definitely include the show. You may be able to skip the meal portion, or get the ticket with the cheaper meal and still do the show. Have you checked their website yet? I know they list all their prices and options.

I usually go to Paradise Cove, but if you want to stay in Waikiki, the Royal Hawaiian Hotel should be a good choice as well.

We were VERY disappointed with our experience at Paradise Cove.

I would avoid it.

You can find out the days of the Royal Hawaiian luau and then sit in th Mai Tai bar, have a few drinks, and watch the show for free! That's what I would do!
