Best luau on Oahu

I did not see a luau at the Sheraton Moana, though we had a wonderful dinner there at the Oceanside restaurant. The Royal Hawaiian (another Sheraton property) has a luau on Monday night (look for disc coupon on their web site). It is all you can eat, but you have to get it all on round 1, as the food goes away. Beautiful site and right on the beach

They are all about the same price - the major ones on Oahu are the Royal Hawaiian, Paradise Cove, Germaine's, and Polynesian Cultural Center. Check their respective websites for current prices. I haven't been to any of them so can't comment on the quality. If money is an issue, I would skip the luau altogether as there's so much free or low cost entertainment on Oahu - free hula show every night on Kuhio beach in Waikiki from 6:30-7:30pm, free hula show in Kapiolani park 3 days a week from 10:00-11:00am, polynesian show at the Hilton Hawaiian village on Friday nights followed by fireworks ($6 drink minimum) - those are just a few examples and I'm not 100% sure on the times so double check. The Parc Cafe in the Waikiki Parc hotel (directly behind the Halekulani) has a great Hawaiian buffet every Wednesday night for about $20 if you want to try Hawaiian food without going to a luau. A Hawaiian lunch buffet is also offered once a week (check their site for the day). Hope this helps.
