Which Hilton Hotel ??
I am in the beginning stages of planning a trip, we can travel either tbe 1st or 2nd wk of June. For our family of 4 and another family of 5 (total 5 kids 6-12).
We are at opposites ends of the US and would like to spend some time together; therefore both families will have to fly wherever we go.
I have lots of Hilton points and would like to utilize them for this trip, my question is, which Hilton hotel have you stayed at and would return because of the, comfort, cleanliness, pool area, location ?
Any suggestions ? ?

With the family consider the Hilton Grand Vacation Club resorts. I've stayed at, and enjoyed all 3 in Las Vegas and the one in Breckenridgec, CO. Both Denver and Las Vegas are easy to fly into.
Also, Embassy Suites Downtown or the Hilton Gaslamp District in San Diego.
Final suggestion for the CA central coast with the Embassy Suites in San Luis Obispo.
Enjoy!

Thanks! This will definately help with our search.
Gail - we are willing to travel a reasonable distance out of the US, ie. Carribean, Mexico; also, it can be a hilton chain since they too honor the Hilton points.
We would even consider Hawaii...

The Hilton Waikaloa Village, on the Big Island of Hawaii, might be a good one for you. We stayed there a couple of times, when our kids were young. If you want to go to a resort, park your car and stay put, this one if good for that. (It does get expensive eating all meals there, though.) There's so much for the kids to do, they won't get bored for sure. A 'lagoon' to snorkel in (man-made, of course). A boat to travel the property on. Dolphin shows and swim with dolphin programs. I wouldn't recommend it for adults w/o kids, though.

Well, if Hawaii is in the mix, then the Hilton on the Big Island. I spent a week there on points a few years ago. By far, do THAT ONE!
I used to go to the Hilton Jalousie in St. Lucia on points - but it is a Hilton no longer

Another vote for Big Island's Hilton Waikoloa!!! It was a great trip to bring the family. It is a huge resort! Lots of stuff to do! Very good restaurants right on property. Best Hilton for using the points.
Hilton Waikiki was nice too, but I liked Waikoloa better.
Other Hiltons we have stayed at are the one in Disney World Orlando, Caribe Hilton PR, Waldorf Astoria NYCity. We used points at each.
I would highly recommend the Hawaii Hiltons. They are the best.
Oh and I believe Hilton now owns the Grand Wailea on Mauai, which is an outstanding hotel. I think it takes extra points to stay there. Check it out.
