Which do you prefer...suburban or urban cities?

I was wandering what type of cities do you prefer, a suburban or urban city? I personally, prefer cities like Philadelphia, Montreal, and New York. If I had a the money, I'd visit many of the world's largest cities. They are just so exciting. I really don't like suburban areas like Atlanta, though they have their urban neighborhoods. But, eveyone is different. No trolls or jerks please!!

Don't you think that metro New York, Metro Philadelphia and Metro Montreal also have suburbs?

Most of the New York metro area looks suburban to me.

I don't care the suburban areas of these regions either. I detest suburbs and suburban cities. I don't visit the suburbs outside of the central city where I live, and it too is suburban.

urban by definition refers to cities. suburban by definition refers to areas outside of cities. so what is a suburban city?

A suburban city is any area that has an Applebee's, a Home Depot, a Target, and 100 or more homes that make heavy use of vinyl siding within two miles of each other.

"I don't visit the suburbs outside of the central city where I live, and it too is suburban."

What?!? Rod, your whole line of reasoning is flawed, and frankly I don't understand the point of your post. Of course cities are more exciting, but they are typically unaffordable and undesirable for families. Hence, people go to the suburbs and build McMansions and Applebees. If you don't like the suburbs, just don't go to them.

I never knew Atlanta was a suburban city, with urban neighborhoods. WHAT? You define this as the city being the suburb. What is your point? Maybe you prefer older cities?

New York City has Applebee's (or its equivalent), Home Depot and is getting Targets. What's the point of this idiotic post?
