Second that Ocen Sushi - and the tempura rest they also own - Tsunami's - across the street. Great food, cheap prices. NOT FANCY - a real local's place.

Not sure where you're staying but for Maui, I'd recommend Sansei in Kapalua.

There's also a Sensei in Kihei on Maui now. Great, out of the ordinary, a little on the expensive side sushi.

Aloohaa all,
While it's not No Shore, Kintaro's in Wailua/Kapaa is still packing them in and Lemon Grass, also in Kapaa was still pretty good.

Had anybody ever eaten at Sushi and Blues in Hanalei?

I pick up sushi a few times a week -- either from the Hanalei Dolphin fish shop (behind the restaurant), or <gasp!> from the new sushi shop at Foodland (Princeville...made fresh allll day long).

Haven't heard anything positive about Sushi & Blues, so have avoided it.
