Where to stay in Charleston?

We've decided to go to Charleston for our one-year wedding anniversary, and we would like suggestions on where to stay. Any help would be much appreciated!

Type this in the text search box: Charleston and hotels. You will come up with plenty of info. Charleston has so many beautiful hotels and B&Bs that it will all come down to what you like the look of, and what you feel like spending. My two cents is stay at the Elliot House Inn. Great location, historic, free bicycles for you to borrow, spa in the courtyard, and cocktail hour every night. It's our favorite when we don't have our children with us, but really, it's one of the many great places to stay! It's a hard choice to make in a city as wonderfully charming as Charleston.

The Hampton Inn is located very close to public transportation and across the street from the Visitors' Bureau.

You must stay at a B&B in downtown Charleston. Try any of these fabulous places (all within walking distance to The Market), Two Meeting Street, Elliot House, Meeting Street Inn, Jasmine House, Church Street Inn or The French Quarter. Any of these should please you. Have agreat time.

We love the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown. It's not your typical Courtyard, is right on the river and the marina and is a lovely hotel with beautiful views. Be sure to ask for a riverview room.
