What's Your Favorite Anniversary/Birthday Celebration............

My wife and I celebrate her b/d in October and our anniversary in August each year at a great location. We have been married 24 years and went to places like Ritz Carlton, Naples, FL, Laguna Beach, CA, Cancun, Half Moon Bay, CA, Amelia Island, FL, St. Thomas, USVI, Four Season, Maui, Little Dix Bay, Caneel Bay, Quebec City, Vancouver, Victoria, Canada, Banff, Canada, NYC, Arizona, Santa Fe, Colorado, et al.....

What is your favorite trip to celebrate such an event.

I've done my last couple 'significant' birthdays, one in Switzerland and one in Hawaii.

Yes.........you Starsville...........I think of you every day. I thought of you last week at the RC in New Orleans visiting the spa 3 straight days. And I will be thinking of you next month at the One and Only Palmilla. Enjoy yourself while I'm thinking about you.

Thanks Ike, but I'm not enjoying the spa treatments that you and your wife are!

:-? I think you can send Ritz gift certificates via email....

I'll take one of those spa gift certificates, too! My DH and I celebrate our anniversaries by getting away each year without the kids. We try a new place each time, usually somewhere we wouldn't take the kids or couldn't afford to. My favorite trip is anywhere alone with my husband for at least a few days. We like surprises, so this year we decided to start making the trips a surprise (Not the going, but where). I went first and planned our trip with a bunch of unexpected gifts for him. His turn is next year for our 20th and it had better be good

We don't do big celebrations often, but at the 30th, I figured it was about time we did something relatively 'big' for us.

We went to ST Thomas for a week and a day trip to Virgin Gorda and Cooper Island, with snorkeling at Peter Island as well as Virgin Gorda. It was fantastic! Made and met an online friend down there also.
