What's happening Oct. 4 wkend in NYC????
What big event or events if any are going in the city this wkend? All the hotels are booked. It was extremely hard to get reservations.

Yikes, probably nothing but the usual conventions, concerts, etc. I know I'll be at MSG on Saturday evening for the REM concert.

Plus, October is a beautiful month in NYC and very popular with tourists. Fall is tough to get reservations.

October is just busy month for NYC. Among other things, the convention season starts.

September through January 1st is the busiest time of year for New York City. Holidays, conventions, conferences, and holiday seekers.
