Can you recommend a good yodeling festival in Switzerland?

(kopp, we had a poster a couple of years ago who asked where is the best place to see the 4th of July fireworks in Amsterdam. Needless to say, she was roasted mercilessly.)

Why isn't English the primary language in other countries, if they serve American tourists?

Can I buy things at Rio's Hippie Fair with US Dollars, so I will know right away if they are cheating me or not? (I kid you not, this happened in front of me but thank God it hasn't been asked here.)

Where can I buy some good stinky cheese for the plane ride home?

When I visit NYC, can I swim in the East River? Does the beach provide towels, or do I have to bring my own?

I love the way this forum helps people decide if they want to have children, how to raise children, what to their name children, etc. Now I have a question for all of you.

I've been thinking about how American mothers feed their children with tiny little spoons and forks, so I wondering, do Chinese mothers use toothpicks to feed their children?

What a stupid question. This is a travel forum. We ALL know they come from travelling to strange places and meeting interesting people!
