What steakhouse in Chicago?
3 TX steak lovers with a 10 year old(who loves steak) staying at the InterContinental wondering where to eat a good steak? Looking at Ditka's, Gibsons, Capitol Grille and Michael Jordan or ...? On another note last year I saw Weber Grill is it worth a stop for another dinner or lunch?
10 days and counting...thanks

I'd skip Weber Grill. Likewise with Capitol Grille which is a chain with outlets in several cities. I've always liked Gibson's and Ditka's and don't think you can go wrong with either.
Another relatively new player that's getting high marks is Chicago Cut Steakhouse.
If you have a bit more time and are willing to venture out of the tourist area, Select Cut Steakhouse in the Lakeview neighborhood, about four miles north of the I-Con. It has great food at a fraction of the price of the downtown places and is easily accessible via the Number 22 bus or the Brown Line train.

The Original Morton's The Steakhouse on N State St, this is the first location ever opened. I personally had the Porterhouse Steak, it was tender, full of flavor, perfectly seasoned and cooked.
I hope this helps.
Have a safe and happy journey.

Bavettes and RPM are the buzzy steakhouses of the moment but I don't think of them as being in line with a 10 yo (as marvelous says). David Burke Primehouse doesn't have the chain feel of Gibson's, their 45 day dry aged porterhouse is just amazing, and it's not so trendy that I would feel uncomfortable about bringing a child along.

We wandered into Harry Caray's spur of the moment, thinking "Let's just get something to eat." Actually, it was pretty good. Good service; the chef came out after our meals were delivered and asked if everything was OK. Plus, the relaxed atmosphere might appeal to a 10-year-old.
