What Seattle hotel would be waterfront and close to the ferry?

I agree with everything kimamom said about The Edgewater and I would add one thing. They have a good towncar service and will both pick you up and drop you off at the airport. It's not free, however, the cars are new, clean, run by professionals and the standard flat airport rate comes in within about five dollars (give or take) of taxi fares.
Their cars are much nicer than cabs though!

I agree, AL about the cabs. I don't care to ride in them and avoid it whenever possible. The Edgewater provided an excellent hotel shuttle that literally took us whereve we wanted to go. (free of charge) I'm still trying to decide between the Edgewater and the Fairmont Olympic for our next stay this summer before we head up to Canada. ***kim***
