'Wet" seats at "O" in Vegas

I just left the website for "O" in Vegas where I had asked for the best available seats and was offered "wet" seats in row C. Do you actually get drenched like at Sea World? I can't imagine wanting to be wet in an air-conditioned showroom. Also is is better to phone the box office even though I am trying for tickets in 3 months? They didn't seem to be offering great seats on the site.

I haven't sat in the wet seats, but I have been at the show. No, you do not get soaked, but I believe you have the possibility of getting some splashes and drops on you as the show involves quite a few water parts.

This strikes me funny--I'm trying to picture painted blue concrete steps leading to the wet seats marked "Soak Zone."

We sat there the first time we saw "O". Didn't get wet at all. The seats were awesome. Take them.

These are the best seats, and chances of getting wet and next to nil.

OK so now the seats aren't available so on to my next question. Does the box office offer better seats than online? I am trying for early Sept. and had thought that I'd have plenty to choose from.

The box office has access to the same seats as online, but they have a little more flexibility when choosing.

We wanted to get tickets for July, but didn't like the seats that were assigned when looking online, so we went to the Bellagio to buy instead. We were able to tell the gentleman helping us where we wanted to sit (which we couldn't do online) and he got us very, very close. I imagine that they could do the same thing over the phone.

We sat right up front and center in the "wet seats". Great possibility that you will get wet as the performers come up on stage right in front of you. Some may splash on purpose. They're fun seats and you can see the details of the gorgeous costumes, however the show happens from all areas of the stage so rows a bit further back would help see all that is happening on stage. If you do take the wet seats, wear something you won't mind getting a bit wet. You won't get drenched, but from center you'll get something from the splashing.

i don't know if you are locked into a hotel but if you book at the bellagio the concierge holds blocks of seats for hotel guests. we were there last weekend and sat in the 11th row.
