Westin - Downtown Seattle - Has anyone been there?

I just booked a room at the DT Westin in Seattle on Priceline for $100 per night. Has anyone visited this establishment? Any reviews?

Thanks!

Yes, we have stayed there quite a bit. When we lived in the area, we stayed there every few months for some group functions. The last time we were there was this past November.

The rate you got is good. Our group rates were always around $120-$130.

We have noticed over the last couple years that the rooms have been renovated. I do not think that all rooms are done yet, but you may want to ask. The rooms that are not done are fine, just the bathrooms a bit dated. On our last stay we were on the 46th floor of the south tower and the room/bathroom were perfect.

The valet parking has always been very good, but if you are without a car don't worry. The location is great, perfect for walking to everything that the usual visitor wants to go to.

Excellent central location downtown, can't speak to the hotel itself (since I live here).

$100/night in Seattle is very good.

Oops, that was the 36th floor. Not that it really matters. Have stayed on the 47th floor in the North Tower though. Be sure to ask for a room with a view, instead of looking out at the other tower.

Very nice hotel...4 stars, but pretty much all Westins are, at the very minimum, good hotels.
The Seattle Westin is a 60's era hotel that has the unique feature of being dual circular towers. From what I've seen, about 2/3 of the hotel is newly renovated.
The location is great, the service is excellent. $100 for the Westin, even in mid-winter, is a great rate.

Bill Clinton particularly liked the McDonald's right across the street, but I don't know that his handlers really enjoyed that amenity.
