WESTIN Seattle, anyone?

Short weekend stay in Seattle, prior to Alaskan cruise. Looking for reviews of Westin Seattle - seems to be good location, but...

Stayed at the Westin several times when we lived in the area. It is fine...some rooms nicer than others, but we never had a bad room. I understand they are updating some of the bathrooms. We have stayed there for the Seattle Marathon and for military balls and never had a problem. Plan on being there again for the next marathon too. Hope this helps put your mind at ease.

Looks like an early 70's eyesore from the outside, rooms are dated feeling on the inside, but have been upgraded in recent years.
There are much better choices downtown unless Westin's offering you an unbeatable price.

Stayed there last September and it is fine. Room was good size and clean, with the Westin Heavenly bed and shower. Service was good and location was convenient. Tends to have large groups of business/conference clientele.

Stayed there 2 weeks ago. Room was great but we had a view of a wall, literally. We were on the 7th floor of tower 1?. Well, just avoid the seventh floor. It seemed to be a good location and the monorail is right across the street.
