We Need a Condo in Myrtle Beach

Hi. We're looking for a condo in Myrtle beach in August. We have 4 somewhat kids (13,16,18,22) and are looking for a nice place to stay. Prefereably on or very close to the beach.

Thanks
Paul

One problem you may run into is space. Most of the MB condos I've seen are 2 bdrms -- designed for small families or golfing buddies. Sounds like you need at least 3 bdrms.

Try any one of several Web sites that let you search for accommodation based on your needs, or else you'll spend a lot of time spinning your wheels saying 'no' to 2 bdrm places.

You might try www.vrbo (vacation rentals by owner) - they seem to have a good assortment of choices and accommodations.

Try Chicora (Reality) I think the website is chicora.com and they have an 800 number. We've used them several times, they have a huge variety of condos in various areas in MB.

We have always loved the Forest Dunes condos. They are very nice and in a wonderful location. They have nice aminities for the kids, too, such as a "lazy river" tube ride, and a small indoor pool and a very nice outdoor pool. The stretch of beach is very nice. Website:www.forestdunes.com

Paul,
I live at the Jersey shore but I have a condo that I rent out in the Myrtle Beach area. It is at Sea Trail Plantation just across the NC/SC border. Beautiful place on a golf course about a mile or so from the beach. It's 2BR's/2 baths plus a sofa bed. The development also has other condos that are 3BR. Let me know if you are interested and we can make arrangements to get in touch somehow.

Try the following link. These are timeshare condos that are rented out by RCI an exchange company. You should be able to find a 3 br. through them.

We just got back from Myrtle Beach and stayed at the Barefoot Resort that is in North Myrtle Beach. We had a lovely 3 bedroom condo in one of the villas, we got ours thru RCI timeshare trade but you can rent them. It is very close to the intracoastal waterway, right at Barefoot Landing shopping center with lots of activities. we drove to the beach - not too far.
www.barefootresorts.net My husband's aunt and uncle have a condo at Kingston Plantation, which is right on the oceanfront. The Embassy Suites on that property might also suite your needs. Also check out website for North Myrtle Beach at www.northmyrtlebeachchamber.com Have fun - we had a great time!
