Watershed Cabins North Carolina

Has anyone stayed in the Watershed Cabins in North Carolina? Web site looks nice but I have no idea what they are really like.

Yes, they look gorgeous but there are so many cabins listed. Which one do you want to stay in and what time of the year?

These are spread out around the Bryson City area. This link shows where they are located. That is a gorgeous area.
Thank you for posting this--even if it remotely might be an advertising post. It offers a lot of possibilities.

This is an older post but is still searchable, so as the owner of Watershed Cabins I would like to correct the link that was provided. We no longer have the above link to a cabin locator map (it was too hard to keep current and too difficult to navigate by users).

We are working on a new website and hope to include a map in this version by Sept 2010. Until then, let me explain that we do have a variety of luxury cabins all over the Bryson City area most of which are to the west of town, which is closer to the attractions of Nanathala River, NOC, Fontana Lake and the Tsali Recreation Area for mountain biking, hiking, and horse trails.

Most of our cabins are privately owned and look like private vacation homes in a variety of different areas varying from gated communities to remote private land tracts. We also have our new "Watershed Resort Property" that is a 50 acre tract where we have created a resort-like feel with a community area that has a group fire pit, yard games (bocce ball, cornhole, etc), a "log-zebo" bed swing, and an on-site hiking trail that leads all the way down to our own waterfall. The cabins on the Resort property are all independent and separate (except our 4-plex "treehouse" units) cabins but are walkable among them so are especially suitable for accommodating larger groups but still very popular for smaller groups and families.

I hope this is not too solicitous (is that a word?), but I am just trying to answer your question of "what they are really like?".

Happy traveling!
