Washington, D.C. hotel in April
Myself, husband 16 yr old and 11 yr old will be spending four nights in D.C. third week in April. We've never been to D.C. I keep reading the D.C. posts and a lot is about Dupont Circle. I've been checking hotels for a few days and finding really high rates. I booked a suite at Carlyle Suites today for $189-I can always cancel. It's two beds and a sleep sofa w/kitchen. How is this place? We're not looking for fancy, just clean, comfortable, and a good location. I'm sure we'll be taking the Metro everywhere. Any other suggestions? Thank you!

Check out the Holiday Inn Rosslyn at Key Bridge. It's in Arlington, but actually just across the Potomac River. You can walk across the bridge and the Metro stop is right across the street from the hotel. The view of the city across the river is great and with 2 kids, an indoor swimming pool at a very reasonable rate!
