I stayed at the Waldorf 2 years ago and our two rooms were great, large and newly redone. They were working on the hot water that night (after the U.S. president left) and it didn't come back on till 7AM. When I told the desk clerk at checkout that it was a small inconvenience to us she instantly took off the charge for one of the rooms. I call that GREAT customer service and I'd stay there again anytime. Have a good time.

The Waldorf Astoria is a HILTON hotel now. If you're a Hilton Honors member you'll do just fine (no matter how you booked, Priceline, Hotwire, Hoteldiscount.com...) If you're paying more than $150 (or even $125) a night, you could do much, much better.
