and mine was after September 2005

It's a street fair with somewhat unusual items, late at night, what else is there to do

the whole 7-towns valley is there, so many teenagers! where are they all coming from??

everything is opened during the fair: shops, restaurants. Don't go too early.

Village Fest is on Thursdays from 6-10 p.m. In season, a large stretch of Palm Canyon Drive is closed between Alejo and Ramon Road. A Farmer's Market is usually located at the north end. There are a variety of booths offering food, crafts, entertainment, etc. There are some interesting items you may not find in stores, like handmade glass, wood carvings, etc.

I am not sure it has changed much since the 2002. If anything, it has more character every year.

No question it has been tagged as a hangout for local teenagers, but I can't recall any problems as a result.

It's well worth a walk.

Oh---and for the record, there are 9 cities in the Coachella Valley--not 7.

It was going on about two weeks ago when we were out there on a Thursday and it is fun to walk around and check out all the booths. I think it runs every Thurs. this time of year.

It's worth it if you are already in PS, but it's really just another "street fair" so don't feel like you have to add a night or go out of your way to see it.
