Villa Sophia Los Feliz, CA

Hello,
Has anyone heard of or stayed at the Villa Sophia outside of LA in Los Feliz? I am thinking of booking a stay here and not being from the area, wanted to find out some more info. It looks beautiful. Thanks.

I always use Tripadvisor for hotel reviews. Try:

The public transportation isn't great through Los Feliz....or if you're renting a car make sure that the Villa has parking, it's a tight-parking-high-restrictions neighborhood.

Just so you know, the Los Feliz area is not "outside of LA" unless you're referring to downtown LA which is about 7-8 miles away. Whether it's a good location for your visit depends on what you want to see/do while you're here.

I agree with clark about the public trans and parking in that area.

You will need a car if you stay in this area. As the others said, it's in the heart of Los Angeles, just west of Atwater, a heartbeat away from Griffith Park and minutes from Hollywood. If I was planning a visit to the Greek Theatre, it would be a very good choice.

Pretty safe -- some of the homes in the area are well over $1 million and the areas around it, like Atwater and Silverlake have gone through a lot of gentrification in the last 15 years, so there are really hip places, along with more modest homes for the young professionals.
