Villa Alejo Condominiums Palm Springs
Does anyone know anything about these condos? We're traveling to PS in April and looking to rent one for a few days with our young children but want to make sure it's a safe area and the buildings are kept up. Thank you!

I thought, I would Google it to see the location... couldn't find! One review on Trip Advisor, probably from the owner, and once again, cannot pull up the location map.
There is no website for this thing as "coming soon" is not good enough at this age of Internet business.
Do you have the exact address?
Sorry to say, I would keep looking.

Yes, I saw that Trip Advisor review as well, although it is for a different rental unit in the complex. There are two reviews (both positive) for the unit I'm looking at on vrbo.com and the photos of the unit make it appear clean and updated enough, albeit somewhat small. (No smaller than the hotel room we were originally going to book for the three days' stay, though.) I guess I'm wondering more about the location of the complex and maybe overall care/safety of the complex in general. The address I found online is: 277 E Alejo Rd, Palm Springs, CA, 92262. I looked it up on Google maps, and although the immediate surroundings look like they leave a lot to be desired, it appears to be within walking distance of N. Indian Canyon Dr. and some "downtown" nicer-looking businesses. Do you know that area? Any advice?
The other rental unit we're considering is part of Sunrise Racquet Club (http://sunriseracquetclub.net/sunris...tside_home.asp). The address is 1200 N. Sunrise Way in PS. The grounds are definitely superior, but it's also $200 more for the 3 nights. I guess if the Alejo Rd. area is safe/nice enough, I'd rather use that $200 for Disney later on in our CA trip.
Decisions, decisions.

After putting the address into Google maps and going to street view, I can confirm the building is the same one shown in pictures of the property. So, good to know it's a great location. Thanks!
Any idea about the Tahquitz Creek Golf Course rental? That's my husband's first choice as it's a heck of a lot bigger than the other Alejo Rd. rental...

Tahquitz Creek is a nicer location, IMO. Sunrise Racquet Club is a potentially windier location and is in the departure path of Runway 31L at PSP under normal conditions. Tahquitz is close to the approach, but quieter. Neither is really easy walking distance to downtown unless you don't mind a really long walk.
