Hi there! Ok, will be heading to Vegas for the first time and we want to go to one great show. From doing research, and looking for something "unique" I think we will do a Cirque du soleil show. But which one? O, KA, or Mystere??? I have read a bit about each but since I can only pick one....Which one do people suggest?

I've seen all three of these Cirque shows and my favorite is Mystere. I've seen it three times.

The good news is - you CANNOT make a mistake - all three are very entertaining.

We haven't seen kA, but the other two were both very good. I liked Mystere best.

Another vote for Mystere. We also saw O, but it didn't amaze us quite as much as Mystere. Since many people disagree with that, I chalk it up to the fact that I saw Mystere first, and by the time I saw O, I was perhaps a bit more "jaded."

I'd be interested in hearing other's comments on how Ka and the new La Reve (which I know is not really a true cirque show) compare/

You might want to check to see which one has the best seats on the dates you're going. You might not even be able to get good seats for the show you pick. We liked them all, but I would say if you had to pick 1 and if you want the most unique one, go see "O."

We've seen "O" and some of it was very impressive...the other parts were way too "artsy" for me. The acrobatic parts are great but there is alot of oddly dressed men prancing around as well that add nothing to the entertainment value...in my straight opinion.

Most people I know that have also seen Mystere like Mystere better.

** When we were in town, EVERY local that shared their opinion said that "MAMA MIA" is the best show in town...

I've only seen "O" and Mystere, and I liked Mystere much better. I can see where they were trying to make the O staging more spectacular, but the show itself was not as mesmerizing as Mystere.

Also, most of my family (except me and my sister in law) got annoyed with the clowns in O. I really liked the clowns!

Thanks for the great feedback. Well, at least I can narrow it down to Mystere or KA (maybe not a lot of reviews since people may have not seen it yet?).
Regarding many of the other shows, I am lucky enough to live in a city where we have GREAT theatre (yes - have seen mamma mia and loved it!)
Anyone else seen KA for comparison sake?
