I wonder what it is about the apt. you want/like. For 3 bedrooms, it only has 1 bathroom. And while it has the 3 bedrooms, it sounds like the price they quote ($550-650/night!) is for 2 and each add'l guest is $75/night. At that price you could stay in the poshest hotel.

That was jamrave's ONLY post ever on Fodors. I'd be concerned but I'm a skeptical NYer.

It is the only time I have posted. They only charged us $550 a night and I told him there were 6 adults. There is one large bathroom and one half bath. I was totally suspicous to but all I can say it worked out great for me. He may have changed the prices if he now charges $75 for each extra guest, I would agree that would be excessive for what you get.

I'm looking for a large 3 bedroom UES/UWS apartment for a friend and stumbled across this posting - I rented from Urban Legends in July 2006 - had a great experience and a lovely apartment near the Empire State Building

Now - any suggestions for a large 3 bedroom - I've looked at all the websites suggested on Fodors.....but haven't found "the one" (budget up to $15K for the month of November). Tried Craiglist, Habitat, VRBO, Ceny and many others......

What about running your own ad in Craigslist?

Thanks - I've tried that for myself in other markets without any luck but NYC might be different - will give it a shot.
