Urgent: questions for boarding the Statue of Liberty

I've booked 5 round trip tickets to the Statue of Liberty and to the Ellis Island on 29/8/2006. I booked the time slot for 8:45am to 11:45am. I know I need to line up at the entrance 2 hours before the departure. However, I just realize that I can only arrive the entrance of the Battery Park at around 10:30am. What if I can't get on the boat before 11:45am? Will I be asked to get out at the boarding site? I really worry about that. Hope that sb can answer my question asap. Thanks a lot!!!

Yes I booked one from Circle Line. Will I be asked to get out if I arrive the boarding site after 11:45am due to the long queue?

Have you tried contacting Circle Line and asking them directly? Nobody will have a better answer to your question than they will.

Just get there early for the first boat that departs at 8:45. Get there at 7:45. If you miss the 1st boat because the line is already long, you'll get the 2nd boat. This way you are guaranteed an early boat.

Unless what you are saying is you can't get to the boat til 10:30 because you have other early morning plans. In that case, I'd cancel/move the other early a.m. plans. My understanding from the website (and I've read it all recently as I am going to Ellis Island tomorrow) is that Circle line doesn't guarantee you'll get on a boat in time to make your SOL tour at your scheduled time, you have to be sure of that by arriving early. Ferry boarding is FIRST COME FIRST SERVED as it says on the Circle Line website.

Thank you very much! In fact I've sent e-mail to those staff. But you know, they may not be able to answer me that quick...

In fact I don't mind to join another timeslot. But the point is I am afraid being kicked off from the queue after long waiting.
