Hi
they run regularly throughout the day.
The fast cat is about 1.6 hrs and the boat is just over 3 hrs.
If you guess it starts at 07.30, and add 30 mins for turnround, you won't be far wrong.
There is a late "nightclub" boat that leaves Sweden about 21.00 and gets back about 04.00. The Swedes stay on the boat both ways. It's fun !

We took this in July 2001. We did not have reservations, and while we arrived early enough for one sailing, we had to wait for another about three hours later. We did have a car with us, so that may have made the difference. We enjoyed the evening at the Radisson hotel in Fredrikshavn (good summer rates) and drove to Skagen the next morning. I wish we had spent more time in Skagen. Have a good trip. Boots

There are several websites if you do a Google search for Gothenburg-Frederikshavn ferry. The following one has a telephone contact number. http://www.norway.com/directories/d_company.asp?id=1204
I think both of us have misspelled Frederikshavn.
Good luck!
