upscale Dud ranches out West..any ideas?

Hi.I am planning a trip for my extended family and am hoping to go to a dude ranch. I will be travelling with ages 3-72 and am looking for a very nice one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Westerngal - Your message says "upscale Dud ranches..." maybe you should change that to Dude ranches and maybe you'll get a response.

No, just keep the message with Dude misspelled. It's more fun making fun of you than it is providing any useful feedback, except for maybe remember to change the diapers on both the 3 and 72 year old.

I heard that Tanque Verde Ranch outside of Tuscan (sp?) is supposed to be fabulous. We have reservations for a family trip in February. Really expensive!!!! (Will cost us $3300 for 3 nights for a family of 6 in their best suite... all meals included.) Also, check out the main dude ranch in Wickenberg, Arizona (1 hour drive from Phoenix). I can't remember the name. Formerly owned by a celebrity, but again can't remember his name... must be having a senior moment at age 36... how sad.

Lucky you Ro! I've stayed at T.V. and its really fabulous. Westerngal, did you have a state in mind? There are so many its hard to give recommedations with such a general question.

I've not been, but my boss, who usually picks destinations based on Four Seasons locations, loved the time his family spent at Coffee Creek Ranch a few years ago. Their website is www.coffeecreekranch.com.

hi,
Perhaps the dude ranch in Wickenberg you are talking about is Rancho Los Caballeros? Does anyone have an idea about whether Tanque Verde or Rancho is nicer? And any other good dud ranches out there?!

Greenhorn Guest Ranch outside of Lake Tahoe has always been a family favorite.

Of cource the world famous Milk Dud ranch in Wyoming called "The Milky Way"
is the place to be. For breakfast every morning they serve a great bowl of warm milk duds with almond soymilk.
And at night there are milk duds left atop your pillow. But the highlight is always to see the milk dud round-up and
branding. Very exciting!
