Thanks, PM. Keith's uncle is just destroyed over the miscarriage. This would have been his first grandchild.

Thank you, Andrew, my birthday was last week. I am a DREADFUL 39. I am now an elderly gentleman.

However, I am not going to Paris with Keith because he is a middle school principal and he just can't get the time off from work.

I will be in Paris with my cousin, Kristy, who is from London but now lives in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Her mother, Aunt Judith, is coming over to Paris to meet us for one day/night. I am so excited because my Aunt Judith is so much fun and has so many good stories (she was once on Martha Stewart and has appeared on QVC with Kenneth Jay Lane abd used to host a TV show in the UK). So, this will be a good trip.

I wanted to go to Egypt in December with Keith, but he doesn't want to go. He says the trip will be too exhausting. I just know he will want to go on a Disney cruise or something equally horrid. He has absolutely no taste.

There would be a divorce but he is just lucky that when he smiles at me my ice-cold heart melts.

OH, I almost forgot. Cousin Muffy is remarried and was living in a villa on Lake Constance. However, she was supposed to be in Palma this summer but she never showed up. I got emails from three people who said she was not in town.

I don't know where she is. Her mother doesn't know, either. Her brother, Minty, said that she is alive as phoned him two weeks ago from a boat near San Sebastian.

Muffy has been distant since my mother died. She and my mother were very close because my mother wouldn't put up with her nonsense.

How are we going to live without cousin Muffy stories??
I hope you and Keith and the rest of the family have a great trip . Maybe we'll get some great aunt Judith stories.

"He has absolutely no taste."

Thin, how can you possibly say that about your own partner? I used to think that about mine too, but then one day I realized -- "he likes ME so he must have SOME taste!"

Gee, I hope someone finds Muffy. Maybe she's busy writing her memoirs?

Thin,
Hope your cousin Muffy is Ok. It sounds like you have a great trip planned to Paris. Your Aunt Judith sounds like an interesting woman. In regards to Keith, how about tempting him with a trip to a Hedonism resort in Jamaica. It would be funny if he said yes.
