Just wanted to say that I LOVE Snoopy's, too! Sitting outside, watching the boats go by...it's great! There's also an ice cream place next door that's great for desert. (I think it's called "Scoopy's" he he!)

Just a quick note to let you all know my husband and I really enjoyed Texas. There were a lot of interesting things to do and see. The highlights were Riverwalk, the King Ranch outside of Corpus Christi, the USS Enterprise, the Bishops Palace and the oil rig in Galveston and NASA. The Hilton in San Antonio was great, the Radisson in Corpus Christi was nice and right on the beach, the Best Western in Galveston was ok but we liked the Comfort Inn and Suites better. We stayed at the Marriott at Intercontinental airport in Huston and and that was very nice too. I enjoyed both Corpus Christi and Galveston beaches, great walking beaches and warm water not like here in the Northeast. A great trip to Texas. Thanks for all your help.

Did you make it to Snoopy's? What about other restaurants? I'm missing Corpus--I want to live vicariously!

Didn't make it to Snoopy's. We ate at Blackbeards right in front of the Radisson. It was decent.

creek00 - I'm glad you had a good trip - thanks for sharing it.

travelisfun - I don't know how long it's been since you have been to Scoopy's but we stopped in last summer and they were making hand-made waffle cones for your ice cream.
