Trip to California
Planning a trip to California in September,which are the best hotels in San Fransisco ($200 - $350) a night.
Best hotel in Yosemite around same price.
Where to stay at Carmel/Big Sur/San Diego and places to visit...have started searching on aviator..good all round website,awaiting your replies

Best accomodations in Yosmeite Valley are at the Ahwhanee Hotel. Don’t know if you can get accommodations there for Sept as many people arrange lodging far in advance for Yosemite. Here’s a link to the reservation concessionaire for Yosemite.

Hotel prices vary by day (date), discounts you may have (clubs, age, etc.) and any hotel specials. Two excellent places you should try are: Ritz-Carlton and Hyatt Regency at the Embarcadero. [I've stayed at both within your price range.]

Thanks jt,stayed at JW Marriot in Atlanta a couple of years back and that was excellent.
...also thanks goes to tampatramp....what about Carmel,where to stay...plus what good hotels along the big sur?
