Transportation from the Honolulu Airport for 7 people??

Is there a transportation service with a van that can accommodate this many people and luggage or should we take separate cabs...which would be most cost effective? We will be going to the Hawaiian Hilton. Thanks.

Check into a limousine service--Honolulu has a bunch of 'em.

There are a number of buses (private like Roberts of Hawaii) that can help you or Shared Van / airport shuttle that go into honolulu. Also you might want to contact the Hilton Hawaiian and see what they recommend......

Call Charley's Taxi Service at: 1-877-531-2333. They have all kinds of vehicles available from vans to limos. They were excellent when we used them last year. We also used Speedishuttle.com, but I think they were a bit more expensive.

Last trip the 'taxi' we got from the line was an old limo. It could easily have fit 7 people and luggage.

With 7 people you would be better off renting a minivan.

By the time you pay for shuttles, cabs, buses & tours you can do on your own, you will not save any $4 by not renting a vehicle. Plus you'll spend hours on or waiting for public transportation.

With the traffic we saw last year, I'm not sure I would've wnted a rental car in Honolulu. At least not the first day after coming off a long flight from the East coast. But if you decide to go that way, make sure you check with the Hilton about parking fees! Maybe parking comes with your room package, but if not it could be quite expensive.
