Shuttle about $7 each way, taxi about $30.
Roberts shuttle from airport runs every 30min or so & sits in sun filling up, then at the other end it's many many stops ! However price is good.
Going back to airport bellman called a shuttle that looked like a former rent car shuttle, much smaller and quicker.

We will be taking the shuttle to the Waikiki Marriott.
The Oahu Airport Shuttle is $20 each way (plus $4 pp), but it makes a max of 3 stops. I took Roberts last time, and wouldn't use again bc it stops at many many hotels.

$20 for 1st person. $4 for each additional person.

If you have 2 people it will be only a few $$ less than a taxi. 3 people about the same.
I think I would opt for either the $9 one way or $15 roundtrip shuttle or a cab.

Oh I get it (sorry slow to catch on today). If a shuttle for two people is $24 and you have to wait for others, then go around to drop them off, I'd spring for a taxi for only slightly more.
I do use the shuttle when I am traveling solo sometimes, because then it is a more significant savings.

if your hotel is near the end of waikiki, and you rather get straight to your room, get rid of your bags and start drinking mai tai's, pitch in your 30 bucks and get a taxi. other wise waste 40/50 minutes waiting for other people to get off the bus. however, if you do take the shuttle, you get to notice where things are and site see.

infamous is right, way easier to just jump a cab. Depending on how long you flight is. I was typically coming in from the north east. Yuo really would only take a shuttle if you were desperate desparate to save money. and hey I have been there doing that traveling, if you can splurge though go for it with a taxi!

I took the shuttle the first couple times (solo), now I always spring for a taxi. infamous82 describes the feeling well (lol)... you can try to get in the aloha spirit and sightsee driving around on a big bus and dropping your fellow tourists off at their various resorts, but I'd rather get my own vacation started instead!!!
Not to mention if you are at least 2 people together, the price is almost the same!
