1. The warm, balmy, perfumed air wafting over my face while sleeping at night.
2. Sunset over Bali Hai from Hideaways Beach.
3. Breakfast of fresh papaya, mango and pineapple on the balcony.
4. Fresh grilled fish on the lanai from Hanalei Dolphin.
5. Snorkeling at Tunnels Beach.
6. Taking a helicopter tour, being overwhelmed by the glory of it all, and not even caring if we crash.
7. No alarm clocks, no schedule, no stress.
8. The wonderful, friendly, laid-back people of the islands.
9. The million photo opportunities at every turn.
10. Driving in the convertible with the top down and an "IZ" CD playing on the radio.
(Sigh) Can't wait until we get back in August 2004.

Much of what others have listed but must also add:
Hawaian-Portugese bakeries - yummy yummy stuff - there is one along the main road between the east and south coast - wish I could remember the name.
