Rodeway Inn & Suites?

Anybody like to comment on this place, just 2 blocks off the strip on E.Trop.Ave? We want some simple and cheap accomodation for a couple of nights, within reach of the main attractions.

go straight to each individual places website..that's your cheapest rates around. Look up in your search for Rodeway Inn's and they'll probably have a 1-800 number.

Rodeway is a total dump. Motel 6, Tropicana Inn and Travelodge South Strip are a little bit better. Also Days Inn Koval & Econo Lodge Flamingo.

Check out GoldCoastCasino.com since their rates are sometimes low and they have free strip shuttle.

Also check out HotelKingdom.com for decent rates at the Best Western Tuscany or the Quality Inn Key Largo.

Thanks for the replies folks. I'd still like to hear from someone who's stayed in the place, if that's possible.

If I'm not mistaken, the Roadway Inn is actually surrounded by the Motel 6, which is across Tropicana from the MGM and next door to San Remo. It looks like the Motel 6 people sold a block of their motel to the Rodeway people because the design of the two motels are identical. If you're used to what a Motel 6/Rodeway Inn offers, then you shouldn't be suprised. It is just a two block walk up to the Excaliber/Tropicana/MGM/NYNY corner.

Had a reservation there but didn't stay....walked in and walked out if that tells you anything. This was 3 years ago though..maybe they've renovated?

Appreciate your reply Clark, what didn't you like about the place and where did you end up staying at? Any other suggestions?

Sorry Clark, you've given a pretty good reply earlier. Forgot about that when I wrote my previous reply.

Can't comment on the Rodeway Inn, but if you are looking for cheap accomodations in Las Vegas I would suggest looking at cheapovegas.com or quickbook.com

If you look at the individual hotel websites, they often will have deals. The Harrahs is a nice moderately priced hotel right in the Center strip area next to the Venetian and across from the Mirage and Treasure Island.
