Has anyone done this before?

I emailed and received fan passes for an upcoming concert. The set is usually aired about 8:30. The pass says you have to be there at 6 am.

I think I'm going to take a pass on the Passes. I'm just wondering if I get there later if the pass will be of any use.

Anyone with experience with these Passes?

the passes will be of no use later. Many more people want to see this than there is room. Getting there late will mean you get to see nothing. (Typically people line up in advance of the stated time for any show.)

You appear to have gone through this before?! I have Fan Passes for this Friday's Miley Cyrus show as a surprise birthday gift for my daughter.. the passes say to be there by 5:45 so I was thinking of being there at 5.. should I go even earlier? We are spending the night at a hotel nearby so we will be in NYC.. any help or tips would be greatly appreciated!

If I recall, the last time Miley Cyrus did one of those free mini-concerts (I believe last summer), people started lining up the afternoon or early evening before. But I have no direct experience.

Hi, I'm looking everywhere for fan passes!!! I need to get them. Starrs, do they send them in an e-mail? If you're not using them can I have them. I'm doing whatever I can to get them! Since I don't have passes, I'm leaving at 5:30. Do you think I'll end up in the back? I need help! Thanks! =]

You have to contact the Today show and, if available, they will email you a fan pass. But, at this date and will it being Miley Cyrus I'm guessing the Fan Passes are long gone.

My fan pass was for last week's concert and the other poster is taking her daughter for her birthday.
No one here has fan passes they do not plan to use.
