tickets off the web

I bought Lion King Tickets off the web and the company says they will be at the WILL CALL window the night of the show,Company named PM tickets. I am scared to death I have been taken for a ride. Any way I can check on WILL CALL tickets? Should I call the New Amsterdam? Any ideas???

I bought tickets for the musical Chicago via Ticketmaster, and they were waiting for me at the theatre box-office on the night, no problem.

Is that what your confirmation says, or do you mean you have been told to pick them up somewhere else? You should be able to collect them earlier as well, for peace of mind.

Print out any emails or confirmations you've recieved, since this will help you sort out any possible problems. It should give the seat numbers and the date you've booked.

I expect the theatre will have your details on their computer, so call them if you are worried (allow a little time for the information to reach them). And if they don't you will surely have a claim against your credit card company.

Ruth, I agree with most of what you say, except I don't know that it's possible to call the theatre directly. They do not publish individual phone numbers. Instead, my experience has been that any phone number listed is for either telecharge or ticketmaster, because they do not want to be bothered with calls.

I'd be a little nervous too. When is your performance?? Why can't these be mailed to you prior to your arrival? If this is a ticket scalper, chances are they don't have the tickets yet. Many times, they pre-sell them first to know they have a buyer. Did they give you EXACT seat location? I buy many last minute tickets but I only use sites like ebay so I'm not familiar with a situation like yours. I ONLY buy seats where I know the exact row and seat number. I've seen too many cases where they don't even own the tickets yet that they're trying to sell. I've bought last minute tickets (maybe a week before the performance but the seller always Fed Ex'd them to me if time is tight). You have reason to be concerned. I hope it all works out well for you!!!

Hmmm...a good reason to be concerned Judy. I'd like to know what type of company this is you purchased from. I too have always had tickets in hand unless they were purchased within a week of the performance perhaps.
