Things to do on trip from ohio to Disney world with kids

We are driving to Disney the first week of June from southeast ohio. I'm looking for things to stop and do along the way. My kids are 12 and 2 so need something to keep them both happy. Thanks

Do you want to stop for a day? Personally, when I get the kids in the car with a destination, we sort of buckle down and "do it"!!
How much time, etc. What do you "want to do".

Charlotte has a Great Wolf Lodge with one of their indoor water parks. Even though would be better to go further to make the second day easier. I would have them wear themselves out in the water on night one and then go straight through to Orlando on day two.

If you can find a hotel with a good waterpark on I 95 between I 26 and the Georgia line is a better halfway point.

No amount of activities can make a third day in the car survivable with your age kids.

Rent a portable movie player or buy a seat mount for your iPad and load up on favorite video entertainment. Prime them for Disney.

From Ohio, charlotte/Great Wolf is a pretty good stop--from eastern ohio maybe 5=6 hours down I77. It is actually just north of Charlotte in concord, off I85, but an easy connection.
