Things to Do in La Jolla?

Hi,
I'm headed to La Jolla for a long weekend in mid April. I've compiled a list of things I must do while I'm there. Any other things I should do in the area? I will probably focus on outdoor stuff if the weather is good.
La Jolla area beaches, want to see tide pools
Children's Pool for the sea lions/seals
Sunny Jim Cave- La Jolla Cove
Mount Soledad
Cabrillo National Monument
Hotel Del Coronado
Old Town
Gas Lamp district
San Diego Zoo

Thanks!

Nice list, you may want to stroll down Prospect in La Jolla, lots of nice shops, stop by the Crab Catcher for some clam chowder! ***kim***

Not just the zoo but the entire Balboa Park vicinity if you can. It is a lovely walk with great architecture. Stop in Spanish Village to look at art.
When in La Jolla Shores, go kayaking. It is spectacular!
Cedros design district in Solana beach is cool and fun shopping for clothes and stuff for the house.

oh yea, and hiking Torrey Pines state reserve. Go to the top and hike down to the beach; views are spectacular. Then go to Del Mar and the village there, stop at Del Mar plaza and take in the view, then go down to the beach for a stroll.

Thanks for the responses.
ncounty- I do plan on checking out the Balboa Park area after I'm done at the zon, it sounds great. As for hiking in the Torrey Pine reserve park, will that be safe to do by myself? Enough people around?
kim- your suggestion sounds good for the evening of arrival.

Oh, it is totally safe....the sort of people who go there are on the wholesome end of the spectrum. Very avid, health conscious types or other tourists. Of course, you need to go during the day.

We stayed several days at the Lodge at Torrey Pines last Aug. Your list is very good for things to do in the area, you've planned ahead. We love to spend an afternoon in La Jolla, strolling the shops and having lunch. This visit we ate on the terrace, at the La Valencia Hotel with views of the ocean. Weather was wonderful.

Torrey Pines State Reserve is very safe, and what views!
