Things I love about traveling (for work)

Since I seemed to piss some people off, I thought I would show that I'm not completely bitter. Here are some great things about traveling for work.

1. Seeing new things. Getting to see new cities, new sites, eat in good restaurants is a great perk if you are intersted in such things as I am.

2. Breaking up the monotony. Sitting at a desk all day makes me go crazy. It is nice to be able to be in motion.

3. Points / Miles. Flying for free with miles anywhere I want to go, staying in hotels like a St. Regis in Rome or Aspen for free on points.

4. Upgrades. Sitting up front for free on almost all mainline flights and getting upgraded to suites for free because of all my stays.

5. Treating family to all of the above as well.

See...not completely bitter.

MDtravel, You make me laugh. Thank you for brightening my day .
Lighten up people, these threads don't all have to be super serious!!

I would like to add something I like about traveling for work, - I don't have to - my husband does, yet I still get all the bonus points. Yippee.
