I went back to florence from November 14th - December 20th. I rented a beautiful place for only 1200 euros. I was right in piazza della signoria, our favorite place in florence. It was great being with her again and everything is going well for me. I will be returning at the end of this semester. I hope you all are doing well. Love all of you fodorites.

folks may want to read your follow up -- but I doubt most will see your thread w/ this title. It doesn't say anything. (But then most of your titles -- "Update for Everyone", "Help Me Decide", "Any Answers would be Great" etc -- aren't very useful and they did get some response - go figure).

It is much better to put some details in the title so people know what you are going on about.

Try something like "Update on The_Lover's Florence romance" or something like that.

Hopefully you are far less vague in bed.

Yes I am very in love still. Interesting though because we had never spent this much time together. 36 nights straight really changed things. Usually you dont spend this much time together even if you are married , you know? Because it was every second of every day no breaks. But it was great. My italian is improvingm, but I make the mistake of speaking to her in english too much and taking the easy way out. I really look forward to returning this summer. I have the bug now though for the rest of europe. After my adventure this summer there are so many places I missed or things I forgot to see. This one will probably be enough to make all fodorites puke and even italians....I was in barcelona and did not make a point to see any work of Gaudi.....I know I am ashamed and I honestly just didnt think of it till I was leavin there and I wanted to go back. Anyways I am thinkin of doin 6 weeks again this summer. Love you all
