kansas city lodging for a large group

I am planning on taking my daughter's scout troop to Kansas City. We plan to spend one night and go to World's of Fun. My problem is that I would like to find lodging that would accomodate our whole group together. Anyone know of a hotel that would allow a group of 15-20 in a large suite? Anywhere within 30 miles of the amusement park would be fine. We also thought that there might be cabins or something similar in the area that we might rent for one night. Any help would be appreciated.

PS--We would like to keep the girls all together in one place rather than divided into separate rooms. We think they will have more fun that way and it will also be easier for the adult chaperones.

Hotels do not allow that many in a room due to fire regulations - the only thing I could think of would be a YWCA -
or maybe some church retreat center

OOPS- When you click on that link it just takes you to an e-mail address so
try entering "Heartland Presbyterian Center" in search engine- that should take you to right spot

It's a chance, but try these guys. If they say no, they'd at least have some good ideas.

15 to 20 in one suite? "Cabins" in Kansas City?
Thanks for the entertainment!

You could consider Worlds of Fun Village. They even have cabins...here is the site:

Thanks so much to those who have posted with useful information. I really appreciate it. This is the first time I have attempted to plan something like this. Usually we take the girls camping, but we thought it would be fun to do something different. You have given me some places to check into. Thanks.

Try calling the Park Place Hotel (816) 483-9900 or the Quality Inn in Independence (816) 373-8856.

Don't ask the person at reservations, but a manager.
