I know the original cast was adored by the critics. I can't seem to find any comments on the current cast.
Has anyone seen it? Is it still as wonderful?

Brad Oscar (in the Nathan Lane role) has been reviewed most favorably by the critics. While I haven't seen any reviews of Roger Bart (who is now in the role originated by Matthew Broderick), he is a most talented performer who did quite well as the original Carmen Ghia in The Producers.

I saw it in October with Brad Oscar and thought he was great. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time!

I saw "The Producers" in October with Brad Oscar and Steven Webber (from the TV show "Wings"). Brad Oscar was wonderful. I'm glad to hear that Steven Webber has left the show. He was okay, but didn't have the stage presence for a musical. His singing was on the weak side.

I'd love to see the LA cast come east. Althought it hasn't opened yet, Jason Alexander and Martin Short are the perfect duo for this show.

I saw the show when it opened and then again this past December. It is still very good and funny. Roger Bart was excellent! Go see it.
